woosusan, As a member of the Lau clan from Wang Sui, I can tell you where Wang Sui is.
If Tung Sing is 東成 and is next a village called Dajingwei 大井尾 (Ai Dieng Mei in Taishanese dialect), the village's coordinates are "22.3170, 112.8159", by searching in Google maps Satellite view (not Map view) .
There is another village in Wang Shui which has similar transliteration Tung Sing or Tung Shing.
As Helen has asked, are you only interested in the location of the village? If you want more information on your ancestors, then it would be necessary to provide us with some names in Chinese.

Hi! I have just recently started researching my fathers family and it has lead me here. Supposedly his grandfather came from the village of wang shui. His name was William Leu Sen, which was later changed in Australia to Lew Shing. If you have information you can share I would be very grateful.

Welcome Melissa
Please can you start another thread - label it Australia, and the village name. That will keep your post separate from others. Also give us some more clues - where was he in Australia - what did he do, who were his friends, did he belong to any society, what dialect di he speak? Any old letetrs? headstones with Chinese characters. There are several Australians here who are very good.

Melissa, If the last name is Leu/Lew and in Chinese it's 刘/劉 then most likely the Wang Shui your grandfather came from is a heung or district in Taishan, 橫水 in Chinese, not a village. There are over 80 villages in Wang Shui, all with this 刘/劉 surname.

yes, we were told that it was probably Taishan, Wang shui. The notes I have indicate it may of been a village near Taishan. This is interesting! Any advice as to where I would search from this point? Your help and time is much appreciated!

Melissa, Do you have anything in Chinese at all, names, correspondences, etc.? Do you know of anyone Chinese who might have been acquainted with your grandfather when he was alive and might know his origin?
If you would like, I could ask my father if heard of a Leu Sen or Lew Shing. You would have to provide me with approximate year he was born, when he left China for Australia, any siblings, children and other known relatives, their names, any story about him that may helpful to identify his Chinese origin, as much information as you can. Send me this info via the forum's private message, if you prefer.
There is a Wang Shui Clan Association in New York, I can ask there too.
