Rawbert2, I'm beginning to think tyuti1668 was on the right track. There might have been an error in the document. Your relative came from Taishan, not Dongguan. In Taishan, there is a Tiantou 田頭 town (used to be a marketplace) within the town of Chixi 赤溪. As tyuti1668 mentioned Chixi is a Hakka town in Taishan.
Because of history of tension between the Hakka people in Chixi and the local Taishanese in the area, during difficulty times many people from Chixi went overseas. During its peak, population of Chixi was over 80,000 in 1916. By 1953, the population was down to 15,000.
Using google maps, search for "Tiantou, Taishan, Jiangmen, Guangdong, China"

Thanks again for helping to zero in. Your theory makes sense joshing father returned to china shortly after arriving in Jamaica in the early 1900's but was killed on return as there were some tensions in his village. I am able to focus on Tain tou. Village and have found on map Only hesitation is that someone from a Hakka association in Cananda hindians that the document is readingTen Teow Heung county, Dong Guan City. Notable to find this on a map though. Any thoughts ?

Just to be sure we are talking about the same places, different dialects Chixi = Chack Kay Tiantou = Ten Teow
I'm suggesting the possibility that the Johnsiu's document was in error, it should have been Taishan, Chixi, Tiantou Heung instead of Dongguan, Chixi, Tiantou Heung.

As mentioned before, there are only few villages in Taishan with the WONG (王) surname at ...
http://chinese.rootswiki.legacy1.net/dok....abase:wang:wong
There is a Tin Bin (田邊) village in Tai Nam To Heung (大南都鄉).

Use Google map to search for "Chixizhen, Taishan, Jiangmen, Guangdong, China", this is the location of the town center for Chixi 赤溪, which is only a few kilometers from Tiantou whose location I gave in an above post.
As to the "3 stroke" Wang/Wong villages, Tai Nam To Heung found by lachinatown has now become Nancun Administrative village (or village committee) 南村村委会. Most of Wang villages used to be in Tai Nam To Heung are now under the jurisdiction of Nancun Administrative Village.
Nancun 南村, in turn, is now under the town of Douhu 都斛, which is just above Chixi 赤溪.
Using Google Maps, search for "Taishan, Nancun, Jiangmen, Guangdong, China" to locate Nancun. Nancun(Wang/Wong villages), Chixi town center and Tiantou town center form a triangle, each about 5 or 6 km from the other two.

If you have someone to inquire for you in Chinese (try Cantonese), the phone number for Douhu Nancun Administrative Village 台山市 都斛 南村村委会 011-86-750-5256417
You may also want to try Qingzhou Administrative Village, neighbor village of Nancun, with some Wang/Wong villages. 台山市 都斛 庆洲村委会 011-86-750-5256419
011-86 is China's long distance country code and 750 is Jiangmen city areacode.

I posted a request a few months ago trying to locate wife's grandfather in china. I posted his registration document when he landed in Jamaica but there was still some uncertainty about the village. Document said Dongguan but sources on the net said likely to be Taishan.
We have located a letter that was sent several years ago from his family in China to Jamaica and it is now attached. Requesting assistance in interpreting the chinese writing so that we can identify the village and house address to see if we can send someone to see if any of the family is still living there. Any help appreciated

Sorry, a typo in the address, should have been
39, Xihua Lane No. 2, North Jiefang Road, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China
On maps the road may be Jiefang Bei Road, where bei means north
