Dear genealogists,
Al Chinn has written number of surname booklets which are very valuable source for beginner genealogists like myself. I acquired the Chen and the Li booklets. He also wrote "You are Royalty: A Guide to Your Chinese Ancestor" which is a great resource to have as well.

Hello twoupman,
Just the news I've been waiting for. I'll send an order for #14 shortly. Just like ordering at local chinese takeaway.

Geoff,
I have sent you 3 e-mails but never got any responses. Is there something wrong with your e-mail address or do you have my e-mail address in your spam list? In the past I never got any responses when you e-mailed me. Please check.

Hi Geoff,
I have since found out that Hotmail does not accept Yahoo emails. Suggest you use either Yahoo or Gmail and get in touch with me directly.

Dear Forum Members:
I recently received the Huang Roots Search Booklet written by Al Chinn. I love it! I had forgotten that the book has traditional Chinese binding. The cover is attractive , the texture of the pages and the illustrations & font size make for a delightful read. The layout of the contents of the book is excellent. With every surname, one always wants to find out what the origin of the particular surname is. I was also very curious to see what the "Totem/Coat of Arms" looked like. Migration patterns were of great interest as well as the Historical Places & famous persons. I must mention that the ease of purchasing the book & the customer service was outstanding! We are very fortunate to have Al Chinn as a forum member and Chinese genealogist willing to share his talents and knowledge. Thank you again for making your publication availiable to those interested in genealogy.

I recently received my copy of the Chan surname booklet and am finding it really interesting. Would recommend it to anyone with surname Chan (or varients).
