Help! After miraculously finding my NG cousins (my dad’s sister’s children) near Kaiping city, they confirmed our grandmother was a Seto. The youngest cousin said he could not remember the village name or location but grandma Seto took him there when he was 6 or 7 years old, walking for many miles through narrow paths along paddy fields. He asked his elder brother who said the ancestral village sounded like “Dragon Roll Rush” and he said it may have the characters in the photo attached. He said it is about 5 or 6 kilometers from Chikan. Does anyone know what the text says? Also, if yes, where this village is located? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ian

Hi Ian,
Hope you're doing well! I see you're on the hunt for your grandmother's village. The picture on your post doesn't quite mean "Dragon Roll Rush"; it actually says the "Luo (clan name) Roll Rush."
In plain English, "Roll Rush" translates to "River Rapids." So, let's call it River Rapids of the clan Luo
I took a look at the map of Kaiping, and there isn't a place by that name near Chikan where the Seto clan is located.
However, there is a "Dragon River Rapid Bridge" (龙滚冲桥)nearby. Maybe that could be a lead?

Hello Steven,
What a great surprise. Welcome to the forum!
For those not aware, I have mentioned about Steven Guan helping me find my long lost NG cousins recently and being our translator & providing car services back in November 2019 to find my other ancestral villages in Sharing Tales: Africa: The Tham Nomadic Travels and in News Links: Translator, Car, Photography and/or Video Services. His email is stevenguan08@outlook.com. I highly recommend him.
With regard to your comments above, I was on WeChat with my long list Ng cousin a few minutes ago and he said “Dragon River Rapid Bridge” sounds very familiar. Are you able to pin point point this location on a map and upload it. He said the Seto village is near here, so hopefully someone can help me find or list Seto villages near here, so he can recognize the right one. He said ”Luo” clan had no connection…that was what he thought it sounded like from his memory as a child.
