My brother has purchased an old Chinese chest with characters on. We think it was an apothercary chest and would like the letters transcribed. I have photos of the drawers and would be happy to forward these if someone would be willing to transcribe them for me.
Thank you. Alex

I've got my photos in Picassa but still can't see how to follow the instructions. I can't find the URL for the photo and I also can't see where to insert the image. Thought I was technologically savy, but I must be more dense than I thought. Will have another read unless someone can make it a bit clearer for me. Thank you and apologies. Regards June

Do not use "Quick Reply", but use reply on the bottom right side. On the second line, you will see Attachment.
Or click Insert Hyperlink, Insert Image under Add Tags:

June, Your Picassa photos are stored in 3 places. The current way is in the cloud via plus.google.com/u/0/photos/ . This is the Google Plus+ account. You might have pictures stored on your workstation with the downloaded Picassa program. Finally, the old web album which will have the URL: picasaweb.google.com/home . It is the latter which will give you the links on the right side of the page with which to embed multiple photos into the forum.

June, Sometimes it is easier to add multiple post for each image using the attachment option. As others have said, do not use the quick reply. See this image: The blue rectangle shows where to upload an image as an attachment from your workstation's hard drive. The blue selected text in the body of the message points to an image already on my Picassa web site. Because of security, Picassa uses the HTTP S://. Before pasting the image, delete the letter s from http s://etc....etc

Thank you everyone for the help. Here is my first try with the first two. Fingers crossed. I have 10 photos in total as it seemed best to take a clear photo of each drawer so hope it is not too many for someone to have a look at. Many thanks. June Attachments:
