Hi north476,
Do post the cover, the contents and some of the pages. I have done charts for this surname for both Hakka and those from Fujian. Now I have one person trying to find his from Nan'an of this surname but he does not know the name of his ancestral village. Unfortunately I do not have and could yet not find the surnames reference book for Nan'an County to assist him.

Someone has been asking about finding her Zeng/Chan (曾) ancestry in Yongchun in Fujian. Whilst I have designed and constructed quite a number of pedigree charts for people of this surname, mainly from the Longshan Zeng clan group and some not from Longshan Zeng clan group, I designed the chart below to illustrate to her the multitude of branches just originating Longshan Zeng clan group.

I wrote this brief history of the Zeng family from Huangdi to the first Zeng to move to Taishan, Guangdong and posted it to my personal website: Zeng Family from Huangdi to Toisan

Hi Cathy: Nam Hoy Gao Gong (Mandarin: Nanhai Jiujiang) refers to what is now Nam Hoy District, Gao Gong Town 南海區九江鎮. They are located in Fatshan (Mandarin: Foshan) City, Guangdong Province 廣東省佛山市. The last four characters are 滙源約人, referring to the person's village of Wui Yuen Yeuk (Mandarin: Huiyuanyue). The first of those four characters can also be written 匯 or 汇. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jiujiang,_Guangdong Greg
