My family relative, who was born in China, has said that our family roots (maternal) are from the following village: Name of Village-----------------Kee Hing Li
County, City, District------------Toishan
Province---------------------------Guang Dong (Located in the East Coast and South of the mainland.) The largest city located in this Province is Guangzhou. (used to be called Canton) . Toishan is less than a 100 miles North East of Guangzhou and can be reached by car or boat.
I am having difficulty locating the village. My family spoke Toisanese. The family name was Gee (although changed to Lee on papers for US entry).
The description above is confusing since Taishan (which I believe is the modern name for Toishan) is not northeast of Guangzhou, but that is what my relative stated.
Can you help provide the location (coordinates or correct modern name) of the village? I have already searched the Chinese Roots Wiki without any success.
Thank you.

You have any Chinese characters? Could it be 岐興 / Kay Hing
I think they meant Guangzhou is northeast of Toishan (Taishan). According to Google search, 135 km = 83.8851 mi from Taishan City (Taicheng) to Guangzhou.

The surname Gee is Zhu 朱, Kee Hing/Kay Hing is Qixing 岐兴 in the 3-8 Marketplace Neighborhood in town of 3-8 in Taishan, 台山 三八镇 三八圩居委会. The village does not appear on Google Maps, but it is in the vicinity of 3-8 Marketplace, which has coordinates "22.2978, 112.6880" in ditu.google.cn
