Where did you get the "Lung May"? Do you have the correct character for "Lung"?
For the Record Lung May (or Longmei) = 龍美 Dik Hoi = 荻海 (Heung 鄉) Located in TOISHAN/TAISHAN (台山) Surname = Yee (余)

聯美 "LuenMay" is listed in the village database for Yee (余) and is shown on the map. Therefore, it maybe is your village.

Right, Longmei was in the Sanba jurisdiction and now in the Baisha jurisdiction. Name change/merger took place over time. Village too small to be shown on any map. It is located that corner of Taishan, close to Kaiping.

If the village you're seeking is Longmei (Dragon Beautiful), then it probably Longmei natural village, Wuwei (Five Walled Villages) greater village, of the former Sanba market subdivision of Taishan.

Look like the person who started the request is no longer interested in this topic. It is very important for people to following up with feedback. There are people started a thread, then disappeared. Good luck to them all.

It is a sad commentary that people who initially post a question later feel the need to remove their portion of the thread. We all learn from each other; every question has value.
