Try this: Geography of Kwangtung Province for Hawaii Residents link. The resource is very comprehensive and since many Hawaiians are from Zhongshan, there is a lot of emphasis in your region. Your best bet is to use Chinese characters which allows you to work with the various mapping apps. The analog Chinese characters in the pdf, if you match a place with the same phonetic spelling for which you are looking, can be digitized using the techniques in the Software section. Once you have your village digitized, then the whole-world-wide internet is available to you for research.

mim168, I visited Cheung Gar Bin on each of my many trips in recent years. It has been turned on its head, unrecognisable as a former rural village and township. I also stopped by Sai Ah twice in the last four years. I have detailed photo reports in my Excellent Adventures in China.
Next Sunday,April 12, I'll be meeting my fellow Chungshan compatriots for our Ching Ming visit to the cemetery. I'll be seeing a couple of people from Sai Ah, they would know for sure if the village you're interested in is still standing. Just give me the name preferably in Chinese, and you'll get your answer. If Sai Ah is a guide, which is still standing intact, the neighbouring villages are mostly left untouched to any great extent.

mim168Working backwards from and taking the Chinese character tyuti1668 searched, is 張家邊 the characters for the village you are seeking? Essentially only you can confirm this.
