Assistance with translation to hopefully find a village name

Hello to all,
A request from Australia.

I am hoping someone can assist me with a simple translation of the Chinese characters on the envelope below. It is a letter to my grandfather Chun Charles John) Yen in 1923,  from his family I believe, and hopefully details his family village or other information. Any assistance is gratefully appreciated, as I have no  records of his village name or birth place.  As an aside, I believe his father's name was Chun Yin (from his marriage certificate), but I do not have any record in Chinese or any headstone details. C J Yen is one of the pioneers of early Chinese migration to the Southern Alps of NSW Australia, following the Gold Rush.

1. The right photo shows the envelope upside down.
2. First quick look shows the surname as Chan or other spelling (陳)
3. The letter was sent to a younger brother.
4. Important names are shown on the bottom left portion of the letter (just below the envelope), so redo the photo if you are interested in the Chinese names of the senders of the letter. Wife, mother's surname is Wong (黃)

Thank you for your response so quickly, very much appreciated. I have corrected the images I have access to, so hopefully the letter will make sense (i don't have the actual letters here with me, so a relative took the shots some time ago- it is possible pages are missing). i was not certain of the contents of the letter in a personal sense, but i will post them to you anyway. Please use your discretion if you think any pages should be deleted.

I have sent the last 3 pages in a separate response, due to the 3 attachment limit.

I had assumed that my Grandfather was possibly from the Sze Yup region, based upon research, and a discussion with the president of the Sydney Sze Yup Society ( I did not have access to these letters at that time). He was a merchant and importer, a storekeeper and a grazier with extensive land holdings, all in rural Australia. And all under the White Australia Policy! So it will be interesting to see if you can find anything of interest.

That's the beginning of the letter and unfortunately folded at the corner and can't tell the name of person receiving it.
What is needed is the end of letter so we can read the people sending it (several names listed). Following the names, there is the P.S. part beyond the names.
