I would appreciate if someone can translate the Chinese characters in my grandfather's headstone. My great grandfather's would hold more information but unfortunately I have not seen it and my only source for finding ancestry is this one. Thank you in advance for your help

patrizia, Reading the tombstone as follows: Right hand side: 晉江 Jinjiang (county) Left hand side: 山兜 Shandou (village, GPS 24.634920, 118.540971) Center: 蔡君萬雷佳城 Cai Junwan (your grandfather's name, surname Cai/Chua), Lei Jiacheng (unable to explain this, maybe another name?) twoupman houseofchinn.com

Hi twoupman,
Thank you very much for the translation. Right now I have no knowledge as to what Lei Jiacheng would mean.

佳城=fine city, i.e. resting place
蔡君萬雷, the 君 there is to separate the surname from given name, so his name is 蔡萬雷 (Cai Wanlei in Mandarin)
