I acquired more than $1,000 worth of books and materials over the course of the last three years. Some of these are very rare (only a few printed copies), and others hard to find (500 copies printed).
I want to find an institution that will preserve these books well and make them available to researchers looking for their family history.
Which libraries are good for this?
I also encourage forum members who may have rare books to think about how to ensure they survive past our own mortality so that future generations can benefit from them.

Hi Wanderer,
I suggest donating them to the Family History Library [https://www.familysearch.org/locations/saltlakecity-library].
They have a tremendous Chinese collection and offer free access to all their online sources.
I not exactly sure, but, I would send them to:
FamilySearch Book Scanning
