Henry,
Realize you are on a transmigration from MD to AZ and no doubt you will be very busy, re-establishing your home, base, home page etc. Good luck and take it easy. We shall leave you alone till you are more settled.
That said, in addition to CA, AZ is another favorite State of mine, and from a Chinese migration historical perspective, the ground is fertile for research. And no doubt, in time you will link into the local research scene. It was said that back in the good old days (the 49ner days?) The Six Companies of SF had connections with the locals in AZ -- some said in the chain of migration assistance. Certainly a number of our clan descendants now in CA claim strong connections with AZ and also New Mexico.
Take care and don't lift any heavy documents. We will wait patiently for your new Tom Clan address. Anything we can do to help, even of we are far away, let us know.
Regards, Ah Gin

Henry, Welcome to Arizona! To get you started on the Chinese heritage trail there, here is a weblink to the history of the Chinese in Tucson: parentseyes.arizona.edu/promise/fong.html Then again, you've probably researched this already........ Cheers, Ray

Dear Ah Gin & Ray,
Thank you for your kind wishes.
Yes, we are driving across the US and enjoying the beauty of this great country and will arrive in Goodyear, AZ - just west of Phoenix.
Kevin Lee, webmaster of the SiYi Forum is offerring his help in re-establishing my Tom Genealogy website. Yes, I will be anxious to check on the local Chinese American history as I did about 20 years ago when I first visited Phoenix.
Talk to you all later,
Henry
