Two Worlds, One Family Doc uncovers Chinese-First Nations relations in early B.C. thetyee.ca/Video/2016/02/10/Two-Worlds-One-Family/Chinese and First Nations shared a respectful and beneficial relationship in the early days of B.C. in the late-1800s. Both supported one another in the face of marginalization and racism. But there was something else that they shared: bloodlines. An upcoming documentary All Our Father's Relations uncovers the interconnected early histories of these peoples. The film focuses on Musqueam elders with Chinese ancestry and takes viewers through an older Vancouver, from the streets of Chinatown to the banks of the Fraser River.
