Andy,
What a coincidence. I am a Tham (Tan) too. My dad was from Shuibiancun, Kaiping. My uncle spelled his last name Tom. My mom is a Chan from Lianjiangli, Enping. My grandpa Tham’s third wife was a Lee.
My village cousins bought me the Zupu which is two volumes two years ago. One is 1400 pages and the second 400 pages. I reimbursed them when I visited 6 months ago. They refused payment and the only way I convinced them was when I told them that I would lose face if they did not accept payment, as I had always promised them two years ago that I would pay for the books. I have no idea how I could even scan these many pages. It would be impossibly long, tedious and the scanner would probably blow up.

Hey Ian,
I think I saw your post in response to my messages on the Tan Clan 譚 forum a while back, but I didn't know you also had 陳氏 and 李氏 ancestry.
I scanned my 譚氏族谱 earlier this year in January 2020 at 600 DPI per page for 186 pages using TIFF format, and the total file size turned out to be around 8.5 GB.
Which 氏族谱 are you referring to? 譚氏, 陳氏, or 李氏?

Hi Andy,
Sorry for the delay in replying. I have been doing concrete repairs in the parking area of our house last evening and all day today, so now I’m worn out and aching in muscles that I did not know exist. Anyway, my two Zupu books are of my mom’s Enping Chen/Chan.

Ah I see. I think that would mean that my paternal great grandmother from the Chen Clan might not be in your clan genealogy book from Enping.
