I am looking for my Dad's childhood village, and am pretty sure it no longer exists. He tells me its location is 原藉, 开平, 六姓乡, 朝金里. (Sorry, I prefer Traditional characters, but haven't got the hang of that keyboard.)
Any ideas on finding where it used to be on a map?
Thanks!

Hi ak36, Why do you assume that the village no longer exists?
Here is the location of 朝金 Chaojin/Chiukam on Tianditu.com, China's official mapping agency website:

Thank you! I'm just getting back into researching my family, and will use the Chinese mapping site.
I wasn't sure if it was destroyed...when I first looked years ago, Google Earth didn't have coverage of the area and showed me a factory roof over a somewhat large area. Very glad it's still exists!
