Hello, hope you can help me out. I'm looking for Qiaoli Village, Changping Town, Shenzhen, Guangdong (廣東深圳常平鎮橋壢鄉) as written in the document. However when I look for it on google maps I can only find a Changping Town in Dongguan and a Qiaoli village south of Changping town. It comes up a lot as the address of many companies as it seems to be an industrial area now.
For example: LISHI INDUSTRIAL ZONE QIAOLI VILLAGE CHANGPING TOWN DONGGUAN CITY GUANGDONG PROVINCE CHINA
And: No.168,Yangkeng Rd. Qiaotou Industrial Zone,Qiaoli Village,Changping Town,Dongguan City,Guangdong. China.
Would it have been Shenzhen in the past and then Dongguan in modern day?

Hi Jen, I have a relative that runs a kindergarten in Changping Town, it's most definitely part of Dongguan City (formerly a county) and has never been administered by the neighbouring city of Shenzhen. Changping is one of the stops along the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway, formerly the Kowloon-Canton Railway. According to Baidu Encyclopedia, 橋瀝 Qiaoli is comprised of the 7 villages of 北門 Beimen, 南門 Nanmen, 橋頭 Qiaotou, 馬屋 Mawu, 張屋 Zhangwu, 大咼 Dawo, and 茂竹山 Maozhushan. The 4 primary family names are 利 Li/Lee, 馬 Ma, 張 Zhang/Cheung, and 林 Lin/Lam. Jason

Hi Henry and Jason,
Thank you so much for your help, interesting how the zupu would mention Shenzhen. I'll make a note that it's Dongguan. The villages and the surname Li/Lee does match my research.
