Can anyone advise where this village, Yup Mee, may be? The man's name is Lee Bak Bong 李北傍. Village is written the same way on three different documents so there is consistency. One record indicates that this village was in Sunwei/Xinhui I cannot find anything like it in the Village database. Any clues greatly appreciated Sally

Hi Sally:
I found a reference on Chinese Wikipedia to a Qing dynasty (1841) Yup Mee/Yimei Village in Gwan Loon/Kunlun Township, Sunwui/Xinhui County: 新會縣昆侖鄉邑美村. However, I don't see any further references to it, so it looks to me like it eventually became part of another village. I'm not sure where it would be exactly located today.

Hi Sally, I agree with Greg, Yup Mee / Yimei village has probably become a part of what was Kun Lun Township which is now a large village cluster known as Kun Lun Village. Click on " Kun Lun Village " to see map location: Kun Lun VillageHenry
