National Archives of Canada
The National Archives holds nominal registers of Chinese immigrants, 1885-1949. The registers include information such as age, place of birth, occupation, date and port of arrival in Canada, head tax paid, etc. Microfilm copies are available through the inter-institutional loan arrangement. Microfilm copies are available for viewing at the Vancouver Public Library, Central Branch, and the Surrey Public Library, Cloverdale Branch.
