Hi Erik,
It should read from top to bottom and right to left. The village is Guang Tak Li in Gong Tau Heung. "Heung" I think could loosely translate into district. I'll see if I can find the village on the map.

Erik,
Please send me an email via the link associated with my name in the lower half of the homepage. I have a Chinese article on the history of the Ma family in Taishan. If it is similar to the Tom Family history - it will include the Ma generational poem you are seeking. I do not read/write Chinese, however, I can recognize Chinese characters and I will check on the location of your ancestral village.

I think it is the top of portion of "Jiangtou Cement Manufacturing Plant". What do you think? But the Jiangtou should be in close by if not there.

The font for the town's name is slightly bolder than that for the City Cement Factory; see the other one for Taishan Cement Factory, and two others for companies. I think the town is shown by the circle as Jiangtou while the name of the factory is City Cement Factory.to indicate it is in the town.
