The video was a wonderful record of how the Chinese built the road in four and a half months in bitter winter. The New Zealand Government rehabilitated a gold mining site in South Island and is becoming a popular tourist attraction. The picture shows the entrance of quite a fascinating walk amongst the restored buildings, it is an easy half hour drive from New Zealand's most popular tourist town Queenstown on very good roads.
