Hello Everybody,
My dad was originally from China (Not sure from which part of China) who came to Bombay for a living, married to my mother (Indian) and had settled in Bombay, eventually expired about 35 years ago. His Chinese name was Yin Sui Chang and was working in the Mazagon Dock in Bombay. I am told by my mother that my father had sent to his family in China a photograph with his Indian family, a copy of which I also have as identity proof. I am 40 years and only son by name Howkhua, and eagerily looking for my dads relatives in China who maybe also eagerly looking out for me. Anyone who can connect us will be highly appreciated and blessed. Thanks for the efforts. Regards/Howkhua

Hi howkhua,
Welcome to our Forum.
Do you have any papers, letters, photos, official documents that have the Chinese characters for your father's name and also an address in China? If your ancestral village in China can be identified and located - this is where most of your blood relatives were born and where your family genealogy book would be located. In China, most villages contain people that related and have a common surname - so, that villages are identified by the dominant clan that livese there.
Are there any Chinese characters inscribed on your father's gravestone ? - these are usually the name and name of the village where he was born.
Take digital photo of any Chinese characters related to your father and post them on this Forum to have translated.
