Fay Chee, it is none of the above. I think they are all selections from Three Hundred Tang Poems. The one on the far left is the simplest, which we all learned in primary school. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Hundred_Tang_Poems I think the style of writing is called 行書 xingshu, running script, or semi-cursive script, a distinctive style of calligraphy. I am not up to it. 春曉 (孟浩然) This is the poem shown on the left of of your screen. 春眠不覺曉, 處處聞啼鳥。 夜來風雨聲, 花落知多少。 Spring Morning (Meng Hao-Ran, 689-740 AD, China) I wake up with the sun up high. Birds chirp everywhere in the sky. Last night a rainstorm passed by. Flowers must have fallen down - I sigh. www.musicated.com/syh/tangpoems.htm#MengHaoRan02 This is the link,(from which I plagiarized,) one of hundreds related to Tang poetry and verses. It is so beautiful. I am annoyed and angry with myself for knowing so little from this great treasure trove. It is one of the goals I want to fulfill on retirement. This youtube video citation of the poem is in Mandarin. Poetry sounds much better in Cantonese. That is a fact, not parochialism.

Douglas and Tyuti, thanks for letting me know what this extremely large (3 foot x 8 foot long) mural was about. I was thinking about hanging it in my house somewhere because it looked nice. I haven't bid on it yet and there is one more day to do so. It is on an online auction site in California. I think I saw a similar mural hanging in a photo taken at my Elder brother's house......Does his look similar..........just a shorter version.....one poem?

Thanks to tyuti1668 for finding a Cantonese video on the poem. I am not sure what is on the mural in your elder brother's house. It does look like a poem. If it is, it isn't one I am familiar with. Tyuti1668 could you please tell us more ?
The mural you are after is a worthy acquisition if it comes within your price range. You can use it as a screen or partition.

Thanks Douglas, Lachinatown and Tyuti!
I bid $11 on it, but there is still 11 hours before the auction ends and I am sure someone will outbid me in the last few minutes.........I'll let you know if I get it!

I won that 3' x 8' poem panel! Now where will I put it?.........
I will memorize the Spring Poem and can hear the Cantonese version thanks to Douglas and Tyuti.......maybe the other panels have a poem for Summer, Winter, and Fall, but that still leaves two. I'm glad just to know one, and it's the nicest one so far.

Congratulations Fay Chee, it is a win to you. I am sure you know just where to put it. You may not know Chinese well enough, but you can do as I'd do, look at the screen as a work of art, admire the calligraphy, it has a calming effect. it soothes. I can look at a scroll with my favourite poem or couplet, and reading it out to myself. I'd feel contented. That's the beauty of the Chinese written character, it talks to you.

Hi Lachinatown,
Yes, as soon as I get it, I will post photos of each panel.
It may take a week or two to get it from Santa Rosa, California. I hope it is packed well so that it is not damaged. Gosh, how will they send a 3' x 8 ' panel like that? They charged $22.00 for shipping/handling.
Oh, I just noticed that when folded, it is 17.5 inches and I think weights 8 pounds............

Lachinatown, My eyes will not make the correlation between either poem.......is the panel still upside down? Left to right....down to up..... Fay Chee
