Mr Louis Ah Mouay, the first Chinaman to land in Victoria, died in Melbourne the other day at the advanced age of 92 years. He was one of the best-known men in Melbourne, and was esteemed for his many charitable deeds. Mr Ah Mouay had an extremely long business career in Melbourne, during which he made a host of personal friends, among the number being the late Sir John Madden, Chief Justice of Victoria. One of Mr Ah Mouav's sons is a well-known architect in -Melbourne, and another is the Melbourne representative of several large timber firms.,' Te Puke Times , 4 June 1918, Page 2
