I have a friend from Malaysia whose family home contains his family's ancestral tablet. The home is being sold, and my friend asked me to help find out if there are any protocols associated with removing the ancestral tablet and transferring it to a new location, as he would like to do the right thing in this situation. I've been looking online, but it's hard to find relevant information. If anyone knows of some associated protocols, or can confirm that there are no special protocols, your advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Zac

Your friend is lucky to have the foresight to want to preserve his family heirlooms and heritage. Too often in modern culture it is out-with-the-old and in-with-the-new.
If your friend learns anything, please write about the protocols.
