Hi All On a different note, recently i tracked down my wifes 周 family zupu. It is an amazing document. It is of course written in 故文, which I can barely read. I notice the structure of this book has 1) migration poems, 2) some type of 班派list, 3) the generation poem and 3) then the hand written lineage charts. Is this structure consistent across all the zupu's you have seen ? What exactly is the 班派list ? Does this mean the zupu are 'splitted' from a master list and theoritically you can use the list to link clans together? In the olden days - how is this migration story told to the new generations ? For example is the migration 'taught' or 'recited' to the younger generations Is there any articles, books, explaining how zupu works ? ...still learning about this .. fascinating topic Any advice or instructions is greatly appreciated Andrew
