My late grandmother is a Szeto from Hoiping, Chikan. She was born in 1937 and her father died in WWII during a bombing attack on the city. She should of been 7 or 8 yrs old at that time. I am not sure if my family members ever saw my great-grandfather picture before. I do not recall seeing my great grandmother (surname Tam) wedding portrait with her husband. Normally families do not discuss painful history like this. I am wondering if I am related to the 7 Szeto martyrs of Hoiping (1945).
I want to contact the Situ library in Chikan, to confirm what happened to my grandmother's father during the war. I can read and speak basic Mandarin since I lived in Beijing in the past.

Adam, If you try to contact the library using Henry 's provided telephone number, please give us feedback. I have been trying to monitor the response rate to western family historians with regards to their contacting various agencies regarding genealogy.
