Hi. I'm trying to locate this village, but I'm not familiar with the counties(?) that are part of the province. This is the village name: 廣東省恩平縣楊橋六鄉西安村 Which I think is: Xi'ancun, Enping, Jiangmen, Guangdong, China Located here. Can anyone verify if I've got the correction location. Thanks

Hi Roger, The village address can be translated as follows: 廣東省 恩平縣 楊橋 六鄉 西安 Xi'an Village, Liuxiang, Yangqiao, Enping County, Guangdong Province (Sai On Village, Luk Heung, Yeung Kiu, Yanping County, Kwangtung Province) The Xi'an Village that you have located is found in the suburbs of Enping City (Encheng), which is quite a distance from Yangqiao (a former market town), approximately 42 km apart. I could not locate another Xi'an with Google Maps, but here are the directions between Yangqiao and Liuxiang, approximately 3 km apart: click here for link to directions. I believe Xi'an should be located in close proximity to Liuxiang. A county gazetteer for Enping mentions that the 7 villages in the vicinity of Liuxiang are predominantly inhabited by the 聶 Nie (Nip) clan; there are also the 李 Li (Lee) and 梁 Liang (Leung) clans in the vicinity.

Thank you Jason.
Yes, my Grandfather was part of the Nip clan, so that's the correct spot.
