Hi FayChee,
My China Roots is a great service and the researchers there are all extremely knowledgeable. People I know that have gotten documents translated by them have been very happy with their work. If their rates fall in line with what he is looking spend, I can't recommend them highly enough. I plan on working with them on a custom project once I am able to get all my research in order!

FayChee, My China Roots makes heavy use of OCR for digitization and translation. If you are just digitizing the Chinese characters in the charts (digitizing the proper nouns of people names) and the characters have good penmanship or are type-set, consider using the OCR of online services like Google Docs, Convertio.co (https://convertio.co/) If you need someone to actually read and then translate the Chinese text, eg the history of the clan, then I recommend private messaging member fonny (https://siyigenealogy.proboards.com/user/1575) for a price quote, or commissioning Peter Huang (https://dazupu.org/home-page/contact-us/) of Dazupu.org, who is based in Sacramento, CA. Remember, if the text is in Classical Chinese, your translation options are more limited. Ping me if you are unsuccessful in reaching either, as I might have an active email address. ~doug
