I am working on constructing a genealogical family tree from a zupu I found. However, I have noticed that in the family lines that are not followed in the zupu tree, there is a note that says 外出。 Does that mean that they just moved away from the ancestral village and so weren't tracked in this zupu? Or is it a euphemism for them dying? Also, if any keen eye out there can help me transcribe and translate the other notes in this image, I would be super grateful! Thanks!

sierrakuo,
Google Translate says it means "go out" - probably means left the village & no longer tracked.

Hi sierrakuo:
These old genealogies can be difficult to read.
I agree with Henry's interpretation of 外出.
The notes for the 5th brother, 琛, say that his 號 (his "literary name" or "pen name") was 淵洛 and that he (and presumably his family) moved to 十七八都 (Mandarin Shiqiba) City, "in front of Old Lei Mountain": 分居十七八都古雷山前.
