This was addressed in a recent Root-Web Reviews newsletter. Some of the suggested remedies are:
1. Stay away from hasty postings because poorly worded postings will not yield the results desired. Fortunately, this board allows us to modify our postings after the fact.
2. Be precise and detail at the same time because others are familiar with our queries as we are nor can they read our minds. The more information we give the easier it is for other people to resolve the problem or add information.
3. If there is no reply reword and repost the query again at a later date because more people are coming online.
4. Sometimes sharing whatever information you have rather than asking for information seems to work wonders.
