Many of you may not be familiar with the name Charlie Teo. He is a brilliant brain surgeon, a colourful, and at times controversial individual. He is never away from the spotlight for long. Charlie Teo is, perhaps, the best known medico in Australia. This is his latest interview on national radio, and worthy of listening to. www.abc.net.au/rn/sundayprofile/ Google has many entries on him. Take your time and take a closer look at this unconventional neuro-surgeon, whose parents are Singaporean Chinese.

Here is Charlie Teo again, this time on national television. If you liked the last radio interview, you'll like this latest presentation on television. Steve Waugh the person who makes the introduction is a very well known sportsman. He was Australia's very successful cricketing team captain and a former Australian of The Year. He may not be well-known to members from those countries to which, cricket is an inscrutable game. Of course, I don't mean Geoff, mugenpower1668, Joe, or Helen. www.abc.net.au/austory/ , following the link and click on to Mind of His Own.

Charlie Teo is on national news again. This time he is giving the formal address for Australia Day celebrations. It is a rare honour for any Australian. www.smh.com.au/opinion/australia-day-2012-address-full-speech-20120123-1qdh9.htmlSome of the links I posted last year are no longer available unless you do an archive search. They make good reading, viewing, or listening. There are many entries online on this unorthodox man of medicine. Do a Yahoo search on Charlie Teo and you'll find interesting entries not buried by his latest speech. He is not your everyday medico.
