Hi Chak,

Thank you so much for reminding us about this wonderful California State Park that is so unique and such a wonderful piece of living history.

Several years ago, my wife and I has the pleasure of a tour of this place in Marin county - so close to San Francisco. John C. Muir, a NPS employee, gave the tour of this place and also a tour of the replica Chinese sampan that he lead the team that constructed the boat:

It would be such a tragedy if China camp is closed. Please see what you can do to help preserve this Chinese heritage in the bay Area:
