Hello, I am wondering if anyone has come across info on the Mexican Chinese who were expelled from Mexico in 1931-32 and who settled in and around Sijiu (四九).
Also, I am looking for information on listings of Li/Lee/Ley"李" family villages in and around Sijiu (四九).
Thanks, Peter P.S. I posted on this site six years ago and got a few leads. Then life got busy. I am hoping to pick up the trail again. Thanks for any and all help!

Peter, There are many villages in Sijiu with Li/Lee surname. I believe I found your old post inquiring about Nancun (South Village) or Shangnancun (Upper South Village). In village database, there is a Nam Chuen Heung for the Li/Lee clan, c-c-c.org/villagedb/display.cgi?level=Subheung&id=46Even though the village names are not found in the database, both Nancun and Shangnancun are found with Google maps, coordinates (22.211, 112.886) in Map view. These village are not labeled in Satellite view, but you can figure which village is which by relative position to the roads. These villages are about 2 km east of Sijiu town proper. Its not uncommon to have many villages with the same names in Taishan. Some of the surrounding villages on the map are found in the same heung in the database, these 2 should be the correct ones.
