She’ll work on each appliqued beaded lampshade or picture for up to a year, with thousands of stitches going into each artwork. She has hosted soirées in her art deco home of almost 80 years, parties graced by the likes of the late Ramai Hayward, Carmen Rupe and Frida Stark.
