I was recently trying to do some research on my family name, Lung. I was once told by my father that our last name means dragon, but that was years ago and I have lost contact since.
While searching for a definition I was told that Lung does not mean dragon but rather it means dragon keeper. My fathers side of the family has a geneaology of our name but I have no way of contacting them.
If anyone could possibly help me to find the defintion of my name as well as a chinese character of it, it would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. If you could also define my middle name Jun Foon that would also be of great help.

Your father was correct, Lung (Long) does mean dragon (龍). That business about the "dragon keeper" is just a fable about the origin of the surname. Sorry, cannot help with your personal name as there is insufficient information to even venture a guess.
