Don't think "村頭鄉 or Cun tou xiang" is a village name. The word "鄉 xiang" is a township.

Hi Alan, I check around TangXia and could not find a Qiaotou village [ 桥头 ]. So it may well be that the Xia Cun I originally identified with an arrow had a name change to Qiaotou. I suggest you ask your researcher to call the village chief of Qiaotou village to see if they have a copy of the village genealogy book that has the names of your ancestors and if so, take photos to send to you. In the China Workshop which I usually conduct in November, this is part of the research & village report done for each attendee and has an escorted visited to the village - all of this is included in the registration fee. Because of the pandemic, I rescheduled the China Workshop from November 2020 to April 2021. If you want more information, just email me at: Tomclan@Gmail.com Henry Thank you Henry. I asked my researcher to send me coordinates and it turns out that it is almst at the same spot as you indicated. Alan Wong

Hi Alan,
I checked and it looks like "Xia Cun" is located at: 22.6953469,113.0168257 decimal degrees.
So "Xia cun" is now known as "Qiaotou".
