I am a second generation Chinese American (half-Chinese) looking for three of my family villages. I'm currently in Beijing and will be joining my younger brothers next week to start searching. Any information about location would so greatly appreciated!
1) Hong How village in Hoi Ping county 2) Sek Kee village in Heng Son county 3) Chung Boyn village (don't know the county yet, but my aunt will go to my grandfather's grave and take a picture of the headstone).
I plan to contact Mr. Su Zhiwei in Guangzhou for assistance as well, based on what I've read in other posts I hope he can help us.
Thanks in advance for any help, it's great to have found this site!

meilin, Go to the weblink www.c-c-c.org/villagedb/search.cgi and type in your surname to obtain a list of villages (in English and Chinese) in Hoiping with your surname, then find "Hong How" village to obtain the Chinese characters for it. As for Sek Kee village in Heng Son county, my guess is this is referring to Sekki, the old name for today's Zhongshan City. Heng Son is probably the transliteration of Heungshan, the old name for today's Zhongshan City which is the capital of Zhongshan county. As for Chung Boyn, the closest thing I can find listed is a village in the Lung Doo District of Zhongshan called Chung Bin, but this is a bit of a long shot and you need the Chinese characters to confirm. Good luck in your genealogical search. Raymond
