FYI

The Second Gin Clan World Conference will be held at the Kaiping Garden Hotel, on the 3rd & 4th November. (Meeting registration is on November 2nd; meeting ends, lunch of Nov 5th).

An important event at this Conference will be the Grand Opening of the Gin Sun Hall Memorial Hall at Kaiping.

Just a point of note: recently our Association Members in San Francisco has elected the President and VP, both ABCs. There are also others such as myself on the Management Committee who were born overseas (to China) as well. It's an interesting time, as the next generation (over 50s or over 60s) assumes the responsibility of running our Association. I am sure we are not unique, and it's a refreshing development in the life of a Clan Association.
