The death of a great teacher of the violin was reported in Chinese newspapers. This well known music educator was a son of Toishan. How a country boy had risen to the top, is another inspiring story. Apparently, the father was a Chinese American, and an artist himself. As one hailed from Chungshan, it seems the Toishan people have the right stuff. Friendly rivalry aside, you've got to give it to them. The following link is in Chinese, but an English version is also available. lyj.ccom.edu.cn/
