Hi Ljeung:
As a fellow Ng clan member, your post caught my eye. I'm afraid I cannot lead you to the specific information you are seeking about your ancestors but perhaps I can give you some more general information that might be helpful to you.
The genealogies on the MyChinaRoots website seem to be posted in such a way that the pages cannot be viewed clearly once they are enlarged. This is a problem with the website and can be corrected only by those administering it. As you said, the information there is useless if it cannot be read. But it does seem like the genealogy you need is there. How frustrating that it is right in front of you but inaccessible! The good news is that you know a genealogy exists. The task now is to get a copy of it--somehow.
The Ng clan genealogy you found on the FamilySearch website I refer to as the General Genealogy of the Ng Clan of Ling Nahm, or General Genealogy, for short. It was published in 1933 in China. As you have discovered, and as its name implies, its scope is very broad and does not contain information about generations that lived in centuries closer to ours. Families are left to fill in the blanks if they want to trace themselves back to the origins of the clan. But if you are able to fill in the blanks, the General Genealogy is a great resource and you will find that you can go back about 2,700 years in an unbroken line!
The Ng clan of Toishan/Taishan is divided into two main houses (fong 房) or branches. Your family belongs to the larger of the two houses, called Look Wai 綠圍. For more information about the Ng clan of Toishan, I refer you to this website put together by our clan brother and forum member Ron Eng Young, with some assistance from me. Ron belongs to the Look Wai House, while I belong to the other house, the Hon Yuen 翰苑. You will find there some biographical information about the founder of your house, Ng Mung, whose picture you see on the cover of that Shayong genealogy.

I also found out by searching the internet that your relatives in Leliu, Shunde, gather every year for a big Winter Solstice celebration. I found a page where you will see photos from this year's celebration and even the menu for the dinner! The text mentions Tau Hin and says that Ngs first came there from Toishan in 1368. There is more when you click on the colored text with the arrows under the second photo (of the ancestral temple). Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to get the link into this post. Try Googling 勒流伍氏 and then click on the second result, the one dated 12/21/19. Apparently, I can't even post the name of the Chinese website--don't know why.
Best of luck in your genealogical journey.
Greg
